(MUNCIE, Ind.) – The Thomas More College men's bowling team opened the season with a seventh place finish at the Ball State Cardinal Classic in Muncie, Indiana.
The tournament was a two-day Baker game tournament, where each team bowled five four-game blocks each day. The Saints' team was made up of first-years Jake Farley (Fort Thomas, Ky./Highlands), Jacob Lawson (Independence, Ky./Simon Kenton), Austin Crane (Florence, Ky./Simon Kenton) and Jonathan Frommeyer (Hebron, Ky./Conner).
Thomas More had 4,662 points over the two days. On the first day, Thomas More had a 125 average as it averaged a 116 in block one, a 126 in block two, 132 in block three, 127 in block four and 124 in block five. The Saints averaged a 108 on day two as they averaged a 106 in block one, 126 in block two, 109 in block three, 113 in block four and 88 in block five.
The Saints return to action on October 8 and 9 when they compete at the Storm Western Shootout in Indianapolis, Indiana.
