(LOUISVILLE, Ky.) – The Thomas More College men's bowling team finished ninth this weekend (Saturday and Sunday, November 19-20, 2016) at the Striking Knights Classic hosted by Bellarmine University in Louisville, Kentucky.
The Saints had 8,021 points in the tournament as they had 5,293 during regulation games and 2,728 in Baker games.
In regulation play, Thomas More was led by first-year Jake Farley (Fort Thomas, Ky./Highlands), who finished eight individually as he had a 209 average with a game-high 248 in game one. Senior Jimmy Kelley (California, Ky./Bishop Brossart) had a 180 average with a game-high 201 in game five, first-year Jacob Lawson (Independence, Ky./Simon Kenton) averaged 170 with a game-high 189 in game four, first-year Austin Crone (Florence, Ky./Simon Kenton) bowled a 164 average with a game-high 199 in game three and first-year Jonathan Frommeyer (Hebron, Ky./Conner) had a 161 average with a game-high 200 in game one.
In Baker games, the Saints had a 171 average in the four four-game blocks.
Thomas More is idle until January 14 and 15 when it travels to Columbus, Ohio for the Buckeye Baker Classic hosted by The Ohio State University.
