(CINCINNATI, Ohio) – The Thomas More College men's bowling team finished 13th this weekend (Saturday and Sunday, January 7-8, 2017) at the Storm Hoinke Bearcat Classic hosted by University of Cincinnati in Cincinnati, Ohio.
The Saints had 7,273 points in the tournament as they had 4,386 during regulation games and 2,887 in Baker games.
In regulation play, Thomas More was led by first-year Jake Farley (Fort Thomas, Ky./Highlands), who was named to the All-Tournament Team as he had a 219 average with a game-high 277 in game one. First-year Austin Crone (Florence, Ky./Simon Kenton) bowled a 182 average with a game-high 218 in game one, first-year Jonathan Frommeyer (Hebron, Ky./Conner) had a 171 average with a game-high 230 in game one and first-year Jacob Lawson (Independence, Ky./Simon Kenton) averaged a 160 with a game-high 192 in game two.
In Baker games, the Saints had a 144 average in the five four-game blocks.
Thomas More return to action January 14 and 15 when it travels to Columbus, Ohio for the Buckeye Baker Classic hosted by The Ohio State University.
