Saints End in a Draw Against PAC rival Bethany, 1-1.

(BETHANY, WV.) – The Thomas More men's soccer team travelled to Bethany, WV. to take on PAC rival Bethany College. The Saints tied the Bison 1-1 after two overtimes. With the tie, Thomas More moved to 10-4-2 overall and 5-0-1 in the PAC and Bethany moved to 8-7-2 overall and 2-2-2 in the PAC.

Sam Lewis, Suli Kayed, and Adam Mathews led the the team in three shots each. Lewis had two shots on goal, scoring the only goal of the night. Kayed had one shot on goal and one assist. Mathews had one shot on goal in addition to his three shots. Griffin Garrison was not far behind, having two shots in the match, also recording one shot on goal.

The Saints led the Bison in shots throughout the match, with the Saints ending the match 19-10 in the shot ratio. Jeff Paulin played all 110 minutes, recording three saves on four shots on goal and only allowing one goal in the match.

The Saints are back in action on Oct. 24 hosting Westminster for the team's senior night. The match is set to start at 2:00 PM.
