(MINNEAPOLIS, Minn.) - Thomas More College junior guard Madison Temple (Cincinnati, Ohio/Anderson) has been named to the D3hoops.com National Team of the Week presented by Scoutware.
The Team of the Week, presented by Scoutware, is D3hoops.com's weekly honor roll. This is the program's 21st season recognizing the performance at each of the five positions for the previous week.
Temple, who was named the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Player of the Week on Monday, helped lead 10th-ranked Thomas More to a 3-0 record last week. Named the MVP of the 16th Annual Julie Costello Classic, presented by Barleycorn's, last Monday evening, she averaged 19.7 points, 8.3 rebounds, 5.7 assists, 2.5 blocks and 2.0 steals during the Saints' three-game stretch. Temple shot 61.1 percent (22-of-36) from the floor, including 46.7 percent (7-of-15) from three-point range, and went 8-of-10 from the free throw line.
The Saints return to action on Tuesday (December 5) when they travel to Pikeville, Kentucky to play the University of Pikeville. Tip-off is scheduled for 6 p.m. at the Eastern Kentucky Expo Center.
