Thomas More Falls on the Road at Wittenberg

(SPRINGFIELD, Ohio) – The Thomas More College women's lacrosse team fell, 20-3, to Wittenberg University today (Saturday, March 18, 2017) in a non-conference match at Edwards Maurer Field in Springfield, Ohio.

With the loss, the Saints fell to 0-3 and with the win, the Tigers improve to 5-2.

The Saints received goals from sophomore Jeni Hall (Lebanon, Ky./Marion County) at the 24:35 mark of the first half, sophomore Brooke Schleben (Cincinnati, Ohio/Seton) at 22:23 in the first half and senior Tori Liles (Tollesboro, Ky./Lewis County) with 20:57 to play in the first half.  Senior Erika LaRosa (Cincinnati, Ohio/Seton) led the team in ground balls with five, while senior Megan Klever (Sylvania, Ohio/Northview) finished with three.

Sophomore Gillian Casey (Lexington, Ky./Lexington Catholic) recorded seven saves in goal.

Thomas More returns to action on March 28 when it travels to Wilmington, Ohio to play Wilmington College at 6:30 p.m.
