Saints Host First Two Rounds of NCAA Tournament

(CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky.)  The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) announced its tournament field and opening round match ups for the Division III Women's Soccer National Tournament on Monday, November 7th at 1:30pm. Thomas More College has been chosen by the NCAA to host the first and second round of the NCAA Division III Women's Soccer Tournament November 11-12 at BB&T Field in Crestview Hills, Kentucky. With the bid Thomas More women's soccer will be in the NCAA tournament for the seventh time and its sixth consecutive appearance.

Thomas More College will be hosting Penn State University-Behrend, Lynchburg College and Hope College. Thomas More and Penn State-Behrend will match up on Friday, November 11th at 11 a.m. while Lynchburg College will play Hope College in another first round match on Friday at 1:30 p.m. The winners will play on Saturday, November 12th at 1 p.m. for the right to advance to the sectionals.

The Thomas More Saints (20-0-1) earned the Presidents' Athletic Conference's (PAC) automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Tournament after winning the PAC Championship Tournament.

The Penn State- Behrend Lions (16-4) earned the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Tournament after winning the AMCC Championship Tournament.

The Lynchburg Hornets (14-2-3) from the Presidents' Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) earned an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament.

The Hope Flying Dutch (15-3-2) earned the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Tournament after winning the MIAA Championship Tournament.
