Senior GoalKeeper Megan Barton Up for D3 Soccer Fan Choice Award

(CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky.)  Thomas More College senior goalkeeper Megan Barton (Florence, Ky./Villa Madonna) is up for the D3 Soccer Fan Choice Award as the nation's top NCAA D3 goal keeper.

Voting is done by the fans on the basis of their statistics and school pride. Barton and the TMC defense have the most shut outs in the nation this year with 19. Barton also has the lowest goals against average of anyone in the NCAA tournament of 0.14 goals per game.

Voting is open through Friday, November 18th at 3pm Eastern.

The Saints' senior mathematics major broke her own school record with 19 shutouts, and counting, in the 2016 season. She is also an Academic All-American, First Team All-PAC, and Second Team NSCAA All-Great Lakes Region in 2015.
