Women's Tennis Falls, 7-2, at Capital

(COLUMBUS, Ohio) - The Thomas More College women's tennis team fell, 7-2, to Capital University today (Friday, September 14, 2012) in a non-conference match at the Beck Tennis Courts in Columbus, Ohio.

With the loss, the Saints fall to 1-3 on the season and with the win, the Crusaders improve to 1-0.

Thomas More picked up its two points in singles play as junior Maria Pascual (Carrollton, Ky./Christian Academy of Carrollton) won at No. 1 by the score of 8-3 and senior Emily Wesselman (Union, Ky./St. Henry) won 8-4 at No. 2.

The Saints return to action tomorrow as they play Grove City College at 9 a.m. in Grove City, Pennsylvania and Thiel College at 3 p.m. in Greenville, Pennsylvania.
