Women's Track & Field Picked to Finish Tied for Fourth in PAC Indoor Poll

(GREENVILLE, Pa.) – Thomas More College women's track & field team has been picked to finish tied for fourth in the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) women's indoor track & field preseason coaches' poll released on Friday.

Thomas More, led by eighth-year head coach Jeff Hill, received 61 points from the PAC head coaches to tie Washington & Jefferson for the fourth spot in the preseason favorites.  The Saints tallied 63 points and finished fifth at last year's PAC Championship at Youngstown State University's Watson and Tressel Training Site (WATTS).

Waynesburg University was picked as the favorite with a 99 points, followed by Geneva College in second place (84) and Westminster College in third (83).  Grove City College was sixth (58), Bethany College was seventh (37), Chatham University was eighth (25), Saint Vincent College was ninth (23) and Thiel College was 10th (19).

This year's league championships are scheduled for Thursday, February 22 at YSU's WATTS. Events will get underway at 2 p.m.  The Saints begin their season on January 20 when they travel to Crawfordsville, Indiana to compete at the Robert H. Johnson Invitational hosted by Wabash College.
