Saints Down Presidents, 3-0

(CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky.) – The Thomas More College volleyball team hosted Washington & Jefferson at home today (Oct. 8), defeating the Presidents in three matches, 3-0, with scores of 25-16, 25-9, 25-18. The Saints remain unbeaten in the PAC, improving to 11-0, and 20-5 overall. With the loss, W&J falls to 8-9 and 5-6 in the PAC.  

Rachel Bronner and Jessica Ginn led the Saints in digs, with Ginn recording 15 and Bronner grabbing 14. Ginn also recorded two service aces and Bronner added two kills, an assist, and four service aces. Jenna Fessler helped lead the team to victory with 25 assists, five digs, one kill, and one service ace. Carlee Lambert, Jenna Mummert, and Alli Borders led the team in kills all recording seven each. Lambert also recorded two digs, a solo block, and an assisted block. Mummert also had a service ace, an assist, and a block assist. Borders also added three assists, and four digs. Rana Cousin in solo blocks putting up two in the match.

The Saints are back in action on Oct. 14, hosting Saint Vincent. The match will start at 1:00 PM in the Connor Convocation Center.
