Arlinghaus Leads Saints to 10th Place at Friendship Invitational

(CEDARVILLE, Ohio) - Senior Celia Arlinghaus (Edgewood, Ky./Holy Cross) led the Thomas More College women's cross country team to a 10th place finish at the Cedarville University Friendship Invitational today (Saturday, September 15, 2012) in Cedarville, Ohio.

The Saints placed 10th out of 12 teams with 292 points.  Arlinghaus finished 17th out of 128 runners with a time of 19:40.04.

Junior Kelsey Hinken (Burlington, Ky./St. Henry) placed 78th with a time of 22:15.12, freshman Casey McCauley (Floyds Knob, Ind./Our Lady of Providence) finished 103rd with a time of 23:07.83, freshman Tori McCarty (Bardstown, Ky./Bardstown) placed 118th with a time of 24:19.05 and Julie Mapes finished 125th with a time of 27:33.86.

Thomas More is idle until September 29 when it competes at the Greater Louisville Classic in Louisville, Kentucky.
